Last year, the Members of the Moms Panel were polled on our “Top Pick’s” of various things throughout Walt Disney World. These included favorite resorts, restaurants, attractions and much more. We voted for our personal favorites and the scores were tallied resulting in a “Top Pick” in each category.
One item we were asked to vote on was our “Number One Favorite Snack at Walt Disney World”. Â
Whether you are looking for a refreshing treat in the heat of the day, or a delicious indulgence to hold you over in between meals, Walt Disney World has so many fantastic snack options. When asked our favorite snack, the overwhelming winner was Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar. Fellow Panelist Marc shows what this beloved treat looks like…
As a whole, the Moms Panelists believe that ultimately, there is nothing better than this classic favorite. The Nestle Mickey Premium Bar is vanilla ice cream on a stick dipped in chocolate. Simply delicious. The Mickey Premium bar has been sweetening Disney vacations for many years, and it is a “must-have” for my family on each trip.
A few other favorites for my kids are chocolate dipped, Mickey shaped Rice Krispie treats…
“Itzakadoozie” multi-colored frozen treats…
and frozen pink lemonade…
As I shared a few weeks ago, a new “must-visit” on every trip is Epcot’s Karamell Kuche . Sponsored by Werther’s Original, the name is German for “Caramel Kitchen”. For a caramel lover such as myself, it’s what I envision heaven smells like. The treats are absolutely divine and my children could spend hours just trying to choose what their special treat will be.
From chocolate-covered, caramel-drizzled strawberries like the one fellow Panelist Maria is enjoying…
…to freshly made caramel popcorn, caramel squares, and decadent cupcakes piled high with frosting and caramel like my son is getting ready to devour…
…you are in for a real treat!
A few other favorites that I must mention are the Dole Whip and the Carrot Cake Cookie. The Dole Whip is a soft serve frozen dessert available at Aloha Isle in the Magic Kingdom and Captain Cook’s at the Polynesian Resort. It is by far one of the most refreshing treats I’ve ever enjoyed. The Carrot Cake Cookie can be found at The Writer’s Stop in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Practically indescribable, this is one treat that you must try for yourself. It is big enough to share, but once you take a bite your manners may disappear. Since I dedicated an entire blog post to Karamell-Küche a few weeks ago, I intend on doing the same for these two favorites in the near future as well.
What are some of your favorite snacks at Disney World? Please share with me in the comments. Wishing you a delicious Disney vacation!
