Disney Travel Tip Tuesday – Karamell-Küche in Epcot

If you know me well, then you know my very favorite place to get a snack in Epcot. In fact, I am known to make a pilgrimage to Karamell-Küche at least once during every visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. Today, I feel compelled to dedicate an entire blog post to this incredible establishment. Last year, I did two “solo” trips without my family, and I promised my kids that I would bring them home some caramel squares and popcorn from our favorite spot for sweet treats. German for “Caramel Kitchen”, this store is a caramel lover’s dream and you can find it in the Germany Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase.

When I walk through the doors of Karamell-Küche, I feel as though I have just stepped into Heaven. In fact, instead of streets of gold, I find myself dreaming of streets of caramel. Not just any caramel either, I’m referring to the handmade delicacy that can only be found at Karamell-Küche. I’ve often found that words cannot do justice when attempting to adequately describe this little piece of Heaven on earth. Instead, I will share some photos of a few of the various snack options. Marc captured Karamell-Küche perfectly, now I just need to figure out how to bottle the smell to tie me over between visits.

While I love the caramel corn and caramel squares equally, if I were forced to choose one favorite treat it would have to be the milk chocolate and caramel covered strawberries. Here I am enjoying one, arms entwined with my dear friend Tron, last December…
