Sharing weekly tips that will save you time, money or simply make life easier on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation.
One of the “must-do’s” for most people planning trips to Walt Disney World is to spend a few moments with beloved Disney characters. I’ve previously shared before about character dining . Sometimes though, people plan last minute trips and they aren’t able to secure an Advanced Dining Reservation for those meals. Additionally, guests often have a favorite character beyond Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Pluto and the Princesses. Lately, The Fairies, Toy Story characters, Rapunzel, Princess Tiana and more are often on the “must see list”.
Your best bet is to pick up a Times Guide when you first enter a park. Daily “Character Meet & Greet” times and locations will be listed on there and they vary by park. If there is a particular character that you are looking for, stop by Guest Relations. They have access to the “Character Hotline” and they can check to see where and when you can find them (if they are making an appearance that day).
Some characters visit the same location each day, others make their rounds. Here are a few that you may currently find in each park:

In other news, as of July 28th, the Fairies are flying to the Magic Kingdom. Tinker Bell and the rest of the Pixie Hollow gang will be stationed at the Adventureland Veranda in the Adventureland area of the park. Until that time, the fairies will continue greeting families at Epcot.
A few other fun characters to see are:
Rapunzel and Flynn Rider from Tangled, currently in the Magic Kingdom’s Fairytale Garden.
Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen, currently in the Magic Kingdom’s behind Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Liberty Square.
Wishing you a magical vacation. If you see Mickey before I do, give him a hug from me!
