Anyone can research the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels by reading about them in books, but nothing compares to first hand experience.
Some of the Resort related questions that I share my opinion about on the Moms Panel are:
Which Deluxe Resort should we stay in with toddlers?
What about with teens?
Which Value Resort is the best?
Which moderate Resort has the best pool?
How is the transportation?
What is the best room location?
What is the Resort restaurant like?
Are the beds comfortable?
Are there 2 sinks in the bathroom?
Do all the rooms have a balcony?
Is it worth it to pay for a preferred room location?
Is it really “walking distance” to Epcot?
Which Resort is decorated the best during the Holidays?
Do you recommend Moderate over Value? Why?
Ft. Wilderness Cabin or All-Star Music Family Suite?
Can 6 people really fit comfortably in a Cabin?
How comfortable are the mattresses on the pullout sofas?
How is the noise level at the Value Resorts?
Which Resort has the best food court?
Which is the most romantic Resort?
How can I request a specific room location?
Can you explain the layout of a 2 bedroom Villa to me?
Do all the Resorts have coffee makers in them?
Which Savanna view allows me to see the giraffe?
Which buildings at the Grand Floridian have views of Cinderella Castle?
You get the idea…the questions are endless.
For several years now, my goal has been to stay in every single Walt Disney World Resort. It will allow me to give genuine, honest feedback when helping to plan vacations. In addition, as a HUGE Disney fan, it’s just something that I want to be able to do. Disney has some absolutely incredible Resorts and I want to experience all of them!
To date I have stayed in:
1 ) Yacht Club Resort
2 ) Beach Club Resort
3 ) Animal Kingdom Lodge – Jambo House
4 ) Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa
5 ) All-Star Sports Resort
6 ) Contemporary Resort
7 ) Caribbean Beach Resort
8 ) Boardwalk Inn
9 ) Fort Wilderness Cabins
10 ) Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
By the end of 2011, I will have also stayed in:
11 ) Wilderness Lodge
12 ) Pop Century
13 ) Saratoga Springs – Treehouse Villas
14 ) Polynesian Resort
15) Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village
I’ve spent quite a bit of time exploring and “Resort Hopping” at many of the other Resorts that I haven’t yet stayed in.
I’m very excited that I will have officially crossed off all of the Deluxe Resorts from my list, and am looking forward to having even more first hand experience to share with guests.
