Disney Moms Panel Monday – Teronya ( “Tron” )

Straight from my heart – A glimpse into what makes my fellow Panelists so very precious to me.

Friends and family call Teronya “Tron”. I recall chatting with her online briefly before her Moms Panel Training Trip in December of 2010 and I couldn’t wait to meet her in person.

If you can imagine someone who has a sugar sweet nature, a heart of gold and who is as welcoming as the warm afternoon sun, then you’ve just pictured Tron. The best part about her…she is the real deal.

Chances are, within moments of meeting Tron, you will become captivated by her sparkling eyes and her beautiful smile. Precious few people are genuinely beautiful inside and out, but Tron truly is. “Radiant” is the adjective that first comes to mind when I think of her. Tron positively glows and you can’t help but smile when you are around her.

Here she is with Leanne at Bongo’s during her Moms Panel Training Trip in December of 2010…

After that trip, I didn’t get to see Tron again until our Moms Panel Reunion this past October. However, we communicated quite frequently. You see, when we began our annual fundraising for Give Kids the World Village last Spring, Tron immediately volunteered to help. We had set a lofty goal and when we were a few weeks away from making our donation, we were still a considerable amount below our target. Tron and her husband did an unbelievably generous thing…they offered a chance to win a vacation at Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort (using their Disney Vacation Club points) to anyone who donated $50 towards our fundraiser. It was this selfless act of kindness that caused us to exceed our original goal.

It was so wonderful to visit the Give Kids the World Village with Tron this past fall, and for her to see first hand how her generosity will benefit these precious children and their families.

After visiting the Village, a few of us had reservations to Dine with an Imagineer at Hollywood Studios. I loved having Tron join us, as she always brings such a positive energy to everything.

We had a wonderful time together at that meal and it was great to spend some time with Tron.

I had a blast riding Tower of Terror with Wes, Tron and Marc that afternoon.

That evening, we attended Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Hallween Party as a group and Tron was adorable all decked out in her costume…

I absolutely cherish the moments that I have spent with Tron, and the October Reunion weekend was no exception. She is bursting with energy and yet she has a calmess about her that is magnetic.

I was super blessed to be able to spend several days with Tron during the 2012 Moms Panel Training Trip a few weekends ago.

In addition to our immeasurable love of Disney, Tron and I share something much deeper in common…our faith. Jesus asks us to live by example, and I imagine He is very proud of His Tron. She shines with His love, and is quite like an angel on earth.

We had a fantastic time together at the Osborne Spectacle of Dancing Lights…

On the last morning of our mini-reunion, a group of us strolled over to Epcot’s World Showcase together. We enjoyed a few relaxing hours before it was time to go home. I absolutely love the memories that we made that morning.

Here we are as we headed out of the BoardWalk…

I can’t think of anyone else that I’d rather endulge in a Karamell-Kuche chocolate and caramel covered strawberry with. I’m just not sure which is sweeter…Tron or the caramel…

We headed to Beaches and Cream together to enjoy a Kitchen Sink before saying goodbye. We all had a blast!

She is the Mom of two adorable little boys who light up her world.

Tron has been a ray of sunshine in my life. I am so very blessed to call her my friend and I simply can’t imagine not knowing her. I look forward to creating countless more memories together in the future.
