Disney Moms Panel Monday – Bret

Straight from my heart – A glimpse into what makes my fellow Panelists so very precious to me.

When the Walt Disney World Moms Panel first launched in 2008, there were 12 inaugural Members. The group consisted of 11 Moms and a Dad. Since that time, the Panel has grown to over 60 Members over the past 4 years and it has included 10 awesome Dads.  Bret will always hold the distinction of being the first Dad on the Panel.

I finally got the chance to meet Bret during our visit to Give Kids the World Village in October of 2010.

Front row (from left): Andi, Kathie, me, President of GKTW – Pamela Landwirth, Allison, Suzannah, Heather M

Bret has always been very generous in his donations towards our Give Kids the World fundraisers.

I got to spend a little more time with him at the Moms Panel Meet & Greet that weekend as well, but it was not nearly long enough to get really get to know him.

Bret has 3 beautiful children. He and his son are big Disney pin traders. In fact, I’ve never told him this, but the video which he did for the Moms Panel site inspired my sons to take up pin trading. You can view that video HERE, be sure to scroll down to “Pin Trading”. He also did a great video on “Pressed Pennies” that you can watch.

Bret has always been super nice in his communications with me and I’m looking forward to getting to know him better through the years.
