Straight from my heart – A glimpse into what makes my fellow Panelists so very precious to me.
Last December, I couldn’t wait to get to know the newest members of the Moms Panel and to welcome them to the family. So, along with several other Alumni Moms and Dads, I flew down to do just that. Naturally with fellow Panelists, a passion for Disney is an obvious shared connection. It’s always fun to discover what else we have in common with each other. We had “met” virtually online and had chatted a bit on Facebook for the few weeks leading up the trip.
When I saw Cassie in the lobby of the Yacht Club, I recognized her right away as she has a “signature smile”.
Within moments of meeting her, I knew I loved her. Cassie is giddy, funny and the life of the party. She also has a heart of gold which she wears on her sleeve. The very best part about her: She’s real. What you see is what you get. That right there endeared her to me from the very start.
While I didn’t get the chance to spend a lot of time with Cassie last December, I’m really looking forward to doing so at the Moms Panel Reunion this Fall. In the last 4 months, we’ve exchanged phone calls, texts and emails. I just know that she’ll be the reason for many smiles through the years.Â
When I came up with the idea to do articles which feature Disney movie lines and how they relate to parenting, I decided to reach out to several other Panelists to see if they wanted to join the team. Cassie came to mind right away. I knew that people would appreciate her open, honest posts.
If you haven’t done so yet, be sure to take a moment to read Cassie’s first contribution to our Parenting Column on the Disney Driven Life:

Love ya, Cassie!
